See Things From God’s Point of View, Not the Human Point of View

 

Jesus turned around and looked at his disciples, then reprimanded Peter. “Get away from me, Satan!” he said. “You are seeing things merely from a human point of view, not from God’s.”

I must see things from God's point of view, not a human point of view.  While from a human point of view, Jesus' death would be bad because He wouldn't be able to perform miracles and heal people, from God's point of view, Jesus wouldn't pay the price for our sins because He wouldn't go to the Cross and die and rise from the dead three days later.

I must remember to see situations and circumstances from God's point of view and not a human point of view, because God sees the big picture, I don't.

Teach Me To Live

Teach me how to live, O Lord. Lead me along the right path, for my enemies are waiting for me.

If I listen to God's Word, He will teach me how to live so I can follow the right path.

God's Unfailing Love Watches Over Me

May he reign under God’s protection forever. May your unfailing love and faithfulness watch over him. Then I will sing praises to your name forever as I fulfill my vows each day.

God protects me if I follow Him, I look to God for help and he protects me. I will keep my promises to Him.  His unfailing love watches over me.

I Won't Have Unbelief In My Life

 

5 And because of their unbelief, he couldn’t do any miracles among them except to place his hands on a few sick people and heal them.

Mark 3:5

Mark 6:5 NLT - And because of their unbelief, he - Bible Gateway

Jesus couldn't heal a lot of people in His hometown of Nazareth because of their unbelief.  I won't have unbelief in my life when it comes to believing for healing in my right eye.

Don't Be Afraid, Just Have Faith

 

But Jesus overheard them and said to Jairus, “Don’t be afraid. Just have faith.”

There are a lot of scary things in the world that can make me afraid, but Jesus told Jairus not to be afraid when the worst thing happened when his daughter died and Jairus had faith and Jesus raised his daughter from the dead.  That means I need to have faith in this trying time because Jesus said not for me to be afraid.

Tell Them Everything the Lord Has Done For You

 

But Jesus said, “No, go home to your family, and tell them everything the Lord has done for you and how merciful he has been.” So the man started off to visit the Ten Towns of that region and began to proclaim the great things Jesus had done for him; and everyone was amazed at what he told them.

Jesus wanted the demoniac to share his testimony and not just follow Him.  Jesus wants me to share His love with everyone and tell others about what He has done for me.  He has saved my life by leading my parents to adopt me and He saved my soul by showing me His salvation.

Listen Closely and Recieve Understanding

 

Then he added, “Pay close attention to what you hear. The closer you listen, the more understanding you will be given—and you will receive even more. To those who listen to my teaching, more understanding will be given. But for those who are not listening, even what little understanding they have will be taken away from them.”

I need to listen to understand what God is saying in His Word.  I need to pay attention to what it says, listening to Jesus' teachings will give me more understanding.  If I don't pay attention even what I do understand will be taken away.
