God Knows the Plans He Has for Me

For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.

I know that God has good plans for me, no matter how hard or difficult life may seem.  He has good plans for me. This scripture was written when everything seemed bad for Israel, but God knew what His plans for them were.

God knows the plans he has for me, and they are a future and a hope, that's why I can trust God to lead and guide me in what I'm supposed to do.

Living in God means Living My Life as Jesus Did

Those who say they live in God should live their lives as Jesus did.
1 John 2:6 NLT

If I want to say that I live in God, I must live my life as Jesus did, listening to God's Word and doing what it says.  Following God means living in God and living like Jesus did.  

That means hearing God's Word and doing what it says.  It is how I show my testimony, doing what the Bible says, and showing Jesus to others through how I live.

I have Fellowship with God

But if we are living in the light, as God is in the light, then we have fellowship with each other, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, cleanses us from all sin.

God cleansed me of my sins so I have fellowship with Him through Jesus.  I accepted Jesus as my savior and Lord and now I have fellowship with God.  He has fellowship with me because He took away my sins.

God is Always Faithful

Psalm 109:7:

He is the Lord our God.  His justice is seen throughout the land.

⁸ He always stands by his covenant—the commitment he made to a thousand generations.

God will always be faithful to me because I have a relationship with Him.   He is faithful to people who love Him and I know He will always be faithful to me.  He is a just God and he will always be there for me. 

God Will give me Wisdom if I ask Him for It

If you need wisdom, ask our generous God, and he will give it to you. He will not rebuke you for asking. 

James 1:5

I can ask God for wisdom and He will give me wisdom for my life.  God knows what I am asking for and He will give me the wisdom to make good decisions for my life. I can trust His wisdom because he knows and understands me and wants what is best for me in my life.

Jesus Has Overcome the World

Jesus Has Overcome the World

 I have told you all this so that you may have peace in me. Here on earth you will have many trials and sorrows. But take heart, because I have overcome the world.”

John 16:33

When life is tough, Jesus' words are a constant reminder that He has overcome the world.  He gives me supernatural strength because of His death a resurrection.  Jesus carries me through hard times in my life.  So I will share what He has told me through the Bible.

Remain in Jesus

Remain in Jesus:

John 15:4

⁴ Remain in me, and I will remain in you. For a branch cannot produce fruit if it is severed from the vine, and you cannot be fruitful unless you remain in me. 

If I remain in Jesus, he will help me produce fruit, how I live my life.  I will remain in Jesus and He will change my life for the better, no matter how hard it is to live for Him.
